Sally Butterworth became a Trustee in March 2024. Sally is the Deputy Headteacher for 2 Outstanding Nursery Schools in Bradford for Manningham Community Nursery Schools Federation and has extensive expertise in Leadership, SEND and Safeguarding having previously worked in Primary schools, Children's Centres and as a consultant for the Local Authority.Sally was previously a student at NHGS where she gained GCSEs and A Levels before going on to study at  Manchester Metropolitan University achieving Ba(hons) Primary Education with English + QTS. Sally also holds Early Years Professional Status and NPQSL.

Married to Julian, they have 3 children, her elder 2 children both attending NHGS.

Sally is a qualified Mental Health First Aider, has a diploma in grief and bereavement support and has an NOCN certificate in Civil Celebrancy.

Sally's happiest memories of attending NHGS are running the school tuck shop, discovering her love of English Literature and Shakespeare thanks to Mr Wood and Mrs Wearing, and school trips including to London, Skiing and a Latin Trip to Rome and Sorrento.
