Mr Abdrasilov is an independent governor who joined North Halifax Grammar School in 2016 and serves on the Resources Committee. Mr Abdrasilov worked in innovation management and strategy for nearly 20 years in a number of banks internationally and is currently employed as a Senior Strategy Manager for Lloyds Banking Group. Mr Abdrasilov has an MBA degree from Cambridge University and a BBA from American University Central Asia.

Outside of work he mentors start-ups in the School of Social Enterprises, SFEDI/IOEE programme and in Startupbootcamp Fintech accelerator in London. Mr Abdrasilov and his wife moved to West Yorkshire 6 years ago and have two children in primary school.
