Mrs Wright joined NHGS in July 2005 after 14 years in the travel insurance industry working her way up to Claims Manager and then working alongside the Managing Director.  Mrs Wright was Personal Assistant (PA) to the former Headteacher for 9 years and PA to members of the Leadership Group. She was also the school’s Personnel Officer until 2015. Mrs Wright continues to work as PA to the Principal and 10 other members of the Leadership Group. 

She has been Governance Professional to the Governance Board and Academy Trust and various different governance standing committees in her time at the school and has clerked for other primary and secondary schools in Calderdale. Mrs Wright is also an independent Clerk for such as exclusions and disciplinary hearings.  She takes an active role in school extra-curricular activities and has led on Comenius trips and more recently accompanied Year 8 students to France.

Outside of school life, Mrs Wright likes to spend time with her family and friends and enjoys walking, body boarding in Cornwall, cinema, reading, dining out and travelling.
