Adams

Assistant Headteacher & Designated Safeguarding Lead

Mr Adams graduated from Warwick University with an MA in History in 2006. His desire for a career in public service took him initially into the world of public sector finance which involved working across the North of England and in New Zealand. Returning from the Southern hemisphere he retrained to become a teacher through the Teach First scheme. He has taught in Romford and Bradford undertaking the roles of Head of Year, Head of History and Head of Religious Education.

He has always had a deep passion for helping children thrive whatever their home circumstances which has led to him undertaking being both Designated Teacher for Looked After Children and acting Designated Safeguarding Lead prior to jointing NHGS in September 2026. He firmly believes that young people can achieve remarkable things whatever their circumstances outside of school via listening, empathising and providing ongoing support. He is delighted to be joining the SLG team at North Halifax to help support our students achieve their very highest academic and personal outcomes.
