Ablewhite

Mrs Ablewhite gained a Mathematics degree from Warwick University and a PgCE from the University of Nottingham. She has worked at NHGS since September 1997. In that time she has been Second in the Maths department, in charge of Key Stage 5 Maths, Head of year 11 and Head of Maths. She plays netball weekly and loves tennis, although she does not get to play very often any more.

Mrs Ablewhite is responsible for Curriculum, Assessement and Reporting, with her responsibilities including: 

• External Exams, Internal Assessement and Reporting
• Curriculum Planning and Development including Timetable and Options
• Quality Assurance - Cycle Overview & Curriculum
• Staff Development - Earley Careers Teachers (ECTS) and New Staff Induction
• Jointly shared line management of Extended Leadership Group (ELG) and Heads of Deparement (HoDs) 
• Leadership link for Mathematics, Art, Technology and Computing
