Mrs Jagger graduated from Leeds Trinity University with a degree in supporting children’s young people and their families, she knew she wanted to take on a role in which a real difference could be made, as such she went on to become a domestic abuse support worker offering young people and their families therapeutic support as part of their recovery. This service with a small team of four people received the first ever safeguarding award in the Bradford district.

After working with the service for four years Mrs Jagger sought a new challenge and took on the role as deputy safeguarding lead within a secondary school, this is where she found her sense of belonging and felt that she was able to make lasting change in young people’s lives for the better. 

When the role as pastoral office and deputy safeguarding lead at NHGS became available Mrs Jagger applied in the hope to join a school which aligned with her own values.

When not at NHGS Mrs Jagger is most likely to be spending time with her two children and her Husband, taking their dog for a walk and visiting family and friends.
