Kay

Mrs Kay has been at NHGS since 2018, employed as a Teacher of English and Lead Teacher, having taught in a comprehensive context for several years previously. Mrs Kay is a firm believer, like Nelson Mandela, that ‘Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world’ and constantly endeavours to change the lives of the students in her care. Since September 2023, Mrs Kay has been Head of English, shaping the curriculum where, ‘language is power.’ She is passionate about reading and literature as Plato stated, ‘Books give a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination, and life to everything!’ 

 Outside of school, Mrs Kay enjoys travelling, especially with her family and her caravan, who she fondly calls, ‘Brian.’ She also loves spending time with her friends and family and her faithful dog. She is an avid film fan and loves relaxing with a good book.
