Mrs
Chadwick

Head of Faculty - Humanities

Having graduated from Lancaster University in 1998 with a degree in Religious Studies, Mrs Chadwick spent some time in the library and information sector before entering the teaching profession. After teaching for many years in a comprehensive setting in Greater Manchester, with wider school responsibilities for teaching and learning as well as leading a successful RS department, Mrs Chadwick joined NHGS in 2019, employed as a Head of RPE.

Since September 2024, Mrs Chadwick has been Head of Humanities, bringing the curriculum areas of Religion Philosophy and Ethics, History and Geography together as well as overseeing the founding of the NHGS Character and Culture Curriculum. She is driven by the belief that by learning about and exploring the complexities of human history, diverse philosophies and belief systems, students don't just gain knowledge; they develop the integrity and perspective needed to navigate the modern world.

Outside of school, Mrs Chadwick has a passion for gardening and reading. If time allows, she is also partial to a bit of crafting.
