Switch Off Fortnight

Switch Off Fortnight Logo 2-13 NovemberSwitch Off Fortnight took place nationally from 2 to 13 November. It's a campaign that's all about encouraging young people to think about how we use electricity and energy. As part of the NHGS campaign we asked students to read the electricity meter during the first week and then in the second week 'Switch Off' and see what impact it made.

Facts

We asked students that have recorded their meter readings over the last two weeks to enter them on the VLE. All results were recorded so they could view other people's results and see who has saved the most electricity. View the results here.
