Calderdale Schools Cross Country 2003

Part one Championships

U.15 boys Years 7,8+9 1.40pm 2 Laps 8 run / 6 to count
U.17 girls Years 10+11 1.50pm 2 Laps 6 run / 4 to count
U.17 boys Years 10+11 2.00pm 3 Laps 8 run / 6 to count
U.19 girls** Years 12+13 2.10pm 2 Laps 6 run / 4 to count
U.19 boys** Years 12+13 2.20pm 3 Laps 8 run / 6 to count

*All times are approx. ** Possible joint start at 12.10pm

Trainers, spikes or football boots can be worn by runners.
All runners must wear a clearly identifiable school number as used in the athletics events.

If a pupil is unabe to compete in the championships but wishes to be considered for selection regarding the West Yorks. Championships a letter with references needs to be handed to Steve Langhorn, Andrew Smith or Angela Daniel on the day of the Part One Champs.

Please complete the attached entry sheet for all competitors. Failure to do so will prejudice a students chance of entry. Schols will be notifed by fax within 48 hours of all selected students.

Selection for the W. Y. Championships will take place on the 15th January at 7.30pm in the Brown Cow Inn, Highroad Well. All interested parties are welcome to attend.

The W. Y. Championships will take place on Saterday 1st Febuary at Leeds Grammer School. For each race we can enter 12 runners with 6 to count in the team competition. Race times are as follows:

Pupils entering the W. Y. Championships will have to make their own travel arrangements to and from Leeds Grammar.

The ESSA Championships will be held at Stanmer Park, Brighton, Sussex on the 8th March
