About the Parents' Association

NHGS Parents’ Association are dedicated parents of NHGS students who supplement the school budget, and by various fundraising activities provide things that the normal school budget cannot stretch to. Events are arranged throughout the year, giving a varied programme of social, educational and fund-raising activities. Over past years, the Parents' Association has worked extremely hard and has organised many enjoyable functions such as a Craft Fayre, Curry Night, Christmas Hampers, Casino Night, Hair & Beauty Evenings, Grand Raffle, Pamper Days and the regular Family Quiz Night. Further fund raisin activities have been the monthly Prize Draw, the bulb sale, Bags2School an easyfundraising. Please contact school for further information. Help is always needed even if you don't wish to come to the monthly meetings.

We meet on the first Wednesday of every month at 7.45pm, during term time. These meetings take place either in the Head’s office or in the Library. Come along to the main entrance, and there is always somebody in the Front Foyer to direct people to the correct meeting place. It can be quite daunting coming along to a new meeting – but please be assured that everybody is welcome, and we really do want new parent’s to come and join us. We always need new people, fresh ideas – and a pair of helping hands!
