We have been studying “The Universe” as part of our “Earth in Space” module recently.
This topic can make your brain hurt if you think about it too deeply but the following model and experimental results were included in the lesson and might be worth further discussion.
- We used a balloon as a model for the Universe. How can we use this model to help us imagine an expanding universe - and more importantly … did it help?
- The following graph of experimental results was discussed. How does this set of results result in the conclusion that the universe is expanding?
